Job Description & Responsibilities
Pengin Open Source is a community project sponsored by Tobu Pengin L.L.C. - the same kind of relationship Red Hat has with Fedora. We build and maintain Pengin Pi 3 (a Django starter skeleton with a built-in dynamic-page system, auth/RBAC framework, and a full deployment shape) and the apps built on top of it.
We're looking for volunteer contributors of any experience level - Python/Django developers, front-end/Bootstrap folks, documentation writers, and testers are all welcome. Pick up an issue that interests you, or propose something new.
This is a volunteer, unpaid role - what you get in return is real experience on a production-shaped codebase, code review from working engineers, and a public contribution history.
